My favorite upgrade was extending the zipper just a bit. My socket wrench and extensions would fit but would have to inset them at the right angle. The 2nd gen have what seems like 1/2-1 inch of added opening with makes it easier to put in longer tools. -@tj_overland

The bag is great! Also, their customer service is fantastic. When I reached out for help on an order I spoke to a real person and in this day and age, is hard to come by.

The new Official Tool Roll provides me with a very useful size and form factor for my tools that come along on the trail. I can hang the bag up, loaded with tools, and have all the zippers open while no tools fall out of the pockets. While rolled up, the compact size of the bag makes storing it easy and takes up less space than my larger tool bag.

Got this for my husband and he literally hasn't stopped talking about it to his car buddies!
